Creative Cost Savings

Who doesn’t love to save a buck or two? As restaurateurs, you try and save where it makes sense—without compromising quality. Get creative with your cost reductions—use dinnerware pieces that give you multiple uses. Invest in a few new pieces to showcase your style and transform your tabletop into high-yield returns.

Here are two tested ideas in tabletop:

Arcoroc Excalibur Stemware The “Swiss Army Knife” Glass – A sturdy, functional and nice-looking glass can have multiple beverage uses—water, soda, beer, cocktails, desserts, etc. Find the right one that can be your universal tool. Excalibur is a good example—it reduces the need for mulitple inventory of shapes and styles that may be too niche-oriented.

Arcoroc Mix UpSmall Accents – Utilize or make small investments in various shapes and colors of tableware to accent your existing pieces. These small changes can dramatically alter the experience for patrons without making a totally new investment in dinnerware. Check out: Arcoroc Mix Up.

The key to implementing successful cost-cutting strategies is to maintain quality. With Cardinal Tabletop, you can explore more ideas to save by contacting us directly at: sales@cardinalglass.com.

Cardinal Tabletop: A Terrific Source of Savings!

Cardinal has invested in your future with products and materials that can immediately put money back to your bottom line.

Only the strong survive a recession.

Arcoroc Fully Tempered Glassware
can save operators up to 50% annually when compared to the cost of regular annealed glassware. Tempered is tougher, saving a bundle on replenishment costs—and over time, the bottom line will be clear. Consider: Prysm Tumblers and Excalibur Stemware, both are "Swiss Army Knife" Glasses that can be used for mulitple beverages—sturdy enough to use as a hammer.

A 'stimulating' dinnerware collection allows you to allocate money elsewhere instead of replacing plates.

Arcoroc Opal Dinnerware
is three-times more resistant to knocks, 100% hygienic, and long-lasting. It’s designed to be scratch-resistant and able to withstand more than 2,000 industrial washes. Try:  Arcoroc Opal—a  durable plate; perfect for heavy traffic environments—and comes in a variety of sizes and shapes that showcase smaller portions attractively.

The ‘KWARX plan’ is a sound investment with guaranteed returns.

KWARX Stemware
, offered in both Chef & Sommelier and Arcoroc, can take the regular handling of a busy restaurant operation and still sparkle at the table. KWARX shows superior strength, but also features sheer rims, and exceptional clarity, even after two thousand industrial washings. Look at:  Open Up Flutes to start the celebration at your tables. Try: Open Up and Oenologue Expert Stemware to heighten your customers wine-tasting experiences.

All of these suggestions can also reduce the impact on the environment – they are 100% recyclable.
